BORGOGNO is a major name and one of the oldest producers of Barolo that follows a philosophy of preserving tradition and history like a precious gem. Founded in 1761, the Borgogno estate has experienced significant international development since the 1920s, driven by Cesare Borgogno. This guiding principle is expressed through the wines known for their traditional character, impeccable depth, and unbelievable ability to withstand decades in the cellar. RISERVA wines are only produced in the best vintages. They are literally the legends of Barolo. All three wines are garnet coloured with orange highlights and each has its own personality.
The Barolo Liste Riserva 2009 has a dense, spicy nose and an extremely smooth palate.
The Barolo Liste Riserva 2012 develops a rare depth with scents of cherries and bay leaves.
Finally, the 2014 Barolo Liste Riserva is fresh, with a sweet minty expression and a saline, iodised finish.
